Been testing the new (for me) Rice Water Bright Cleansing Foam by @thefaceshop.official Normally, I 🏃🏽♀️🏃🏽♀️ far away from anything that has "foaming" or "foam" in the name but the inci list convinced me to try it out. Anyway, now that the weather is getting a little warmer I've enjoyed using this cleanser in the AM. Have a feeling my dehydrated skin will not enjoy this in the winter. It's missing the extra hydration kick I need. But for the warmer months and for a first cleanse in the PM this is nice.
The texture is thick and creamy. It emulsifies well on application. You can wash it off and not feel any residue. I still prefer a washcloth before I go in for my second cleanse. This is good for getting makeup off but you'd definitely need to go back in for a second cleanse. Post cleanse my face doesn't feel dry or stripped of moisture. I think most skins will most likely get on with this except those that are very sensitive or suffer from acne. It has a light fragrance, which I don't mind.
The packaging is sturdy. The tube is satisfyingly squeezable with no danger of exploding. I like that you can roll it up like a tube of toothpaste. No wastage!
Verdict: it's a good budget buy for peeps who don't enjoy oils, gels or balms. I got mine from @yesstyle which delivers to Pakistan in a timely fashion without crazy shipping costs.
Have any of you tried this? Or any other Korean brands? How did you get on? .
Once my dad said, "You will learn to swim, once you jump into the water. If you want to learn, let go of fear and jump" Making bold decisions and to stand with those is the only way to deep dive in the ocean of life.
